If signed into law, the Social Security Earnings Test Repeal Act would amend title II of the Social Security Act to remove the limitation upon the amount of outside income which an individual may earn while receiving Social Security benefits.
Rep. Gene Green (TX-29) introduced H.R. 3348 on November 3, 2011. It has since been referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means.
