H.R. 867, Notch Fairness Act

If signed into law, H.R. 867 would allow those born between 1917 and 1926 to choose either lump sum payments over four years totalling $5,000 or an improved benefit computation formula.

Rep. Grace Meng (NY-6) introduced H.R. 867 on February 3, 2017. It has been referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means.
