If signed into law, H.R. 1716 would prevent Social Security credits from being earned by work done illegally, using stolen, fake, or fraudulent Social Security numbers.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48) introduced H.R. 1716 on March 26, 2015. It has since been referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
