If signed into law, H.R. 3351 would provide cost-of-living increases for certain Federal benefits programs -- including Social Security -- based on increases in the Consumer Price Index for the Elderly (CPI-E).
Rep. Michael Honda (CA-17) introduced H.R. 3351 on July 29, 2015. It has since been referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
