If signed into law, H.R. 3500 would require the Bureau of Labor Statistics to report the Consumer Price Index (CPI) using the methodology that was employed in 1980.
Rep. Walter Jones (NC-3) introduced H.R. 3500 on September 11, 2015. It has since been referred to the Committee on Education and the Workforce.
