Month-Long Recess Continues
Members of Congress remained in their home states and districts this week. They are expected to return to Capitol Hill on Tuesday, September 8th. In the meantime, many Members of Congress will attend local events and hold town hall meetings, giving constituents an excellent opportunity to voice their concerns and have their most pressing questions answered.
The following Members of Congress, among others, will hold town hall meetings this week: Sen. Mike Crapo (ID), Sen. Chuck Grassley (IA), Rep. Bradley Byrne (AL-1), Rep. Gene Green (TX-29), Rep. Brett Guthrie (KY-2), Rep. Frank Lucas (OK-3), Rep. Mick Mulvaney (SC-5), Rep. Rick Nolan (MN-8), Rep. Mark Sanford (SC-1), Rep. Karen Bass (CA-37), Rep. Tom Reed (NY-23), Rep. Will Hurd (TX-23), Rep. Larry Bucshon (IN-8), Rep. Peter DeFazio (OR-4), Rep. Sam Farr (CA-20), Rep. Doug LaMalfa (CA-1), Rep. Seth Moulton (MA-6), Rep. Robert Pittenger (NC-9), and Rep. Keith Rothfus (PA-12).
