Congress Remains in Recess for Winter Break
This week, lawmakers the House and Senate remained in their home states and districts for the holiday recess. They are expected to return to Capitol Hill on January 3rd to begin the 115th Congress.
In the meantime, The Senior Citizens League (TSCL) will be monitoring discussions in Washington about the legislative priorities of the new Congress, including a repeal of the Affordable Care Act, the potential privatization of the Medicare program, and comprehensive Social Security reform.
