If adopted, S. 97 would allow for the importation of affordable and safe drugs by wholesale distributors, pharmacies, and individuals.
Senator Bernie Sanders (VT) introduced S. 97 on January 10, 2019. It has since been referred to the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.
