If signed into law, S. 99 would allow Notch victims born between the years 1917 and 1926 to choose between four lump sum payments totaling $5,000 or an improved monthly benefit computation formula.
Senator David Vitter (LA) introduced S. 99 on January 7, 2015. It has since been referred to the Committee on Finance.
