If signed into law, H.R. 3061 would require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to negotiate covered Part D drug prices on behalf of Medicare beneficiaries.
Rep. Peter Welch (VT) introduced H.R. 3061 on July 17, 2015. It has since been referred to the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health.
