If signed into law, H.R. 314 would allow Notch victims born between the years 1917 and 1926 to choose between four lump sum payments totaling $5,000 or an improved monthly benefit computation formula.
Representative Grace Meng (NY-6) introduced H.R. 314 on January 13, 2015. It has since been referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
