Medicare Part B Hike Underscores Growing Financial Strain on Older Americans
The 2026 Medicare Part B Premiums have been announced at $202.90. This year’s premium increase of 9.7 percent was more than three times the 2026 COLA (announced in October) of 2.8 percent. All that and more in our latest Press Release.

Seniors Miss Out
Social Security’s 2026 Cost-of-Living Announcement (COLA) has been delayed to Friday, October 24th, due to complications arising from the government shutdown. The announcement had previously been scheduled for today, October 15th.
